Come Together provides online viewing of events that matter. This allows friends and family members, who cannot attend an event, to share in significant celebrations, regardless of their location, schedule, or other conflict.

My Booth at the Winkler Wedding Show

The wedding show was a great success! I can’t believe how many people are getting married this year. Most of the people I talked to hadn’t given any thought of having a video recording of their wedding, or were simply going to ask a friend or relative to record it. I proceeded to explain some of the benefits of having a professional take care of the recording, and had a fair amount of interest as a result.

Based on the interest shown at the wedding show, and the amount of leads I received, I suspect just about every weekend will be booked this summer. That, combined with staying on part time at my current job, and some other work I have acquired, I could be in for a busy year!

Thanks for those who have been praying for me, I believe God has given me clear direction based on the amount of interest I have already received, only a month into starting my company.

This is quite an exciting time for us because this is something Lynn has been wanting to do for quite a while. We decided to begin now because by the time all of our kids are in school, Lynn will have completed her degree and can begin working.

We ask for prayer as Lynn will be quite busy studying and being a full time Mom. The time studying, however, will be a nice break from her day-to-day responsibilities.

I plan on purchasing a high definition video camera in the near future, which will enable me to produce high quality videos of your event.

Other ideas for video production might include videography of the bachelor/bachelorette parties, planning of the wedding, video interviews of family and friends for the event, etc.

View the video below for an example of my work. I recorded this footage on a cheap Sony Handycam and edited to be ready for the web the following week. I had about an hour’s notice before the event and limited resources at the time, so I apologize for the less than perfect quality of the video. Over the next few weeks I hope to complete my series on the Christian disciplines, as well as start providing commentary and review on some courses I have been listening to that I downloaded from iTunes U.

If you have never heard of iTunes U, I recommend you check it out. Just google it if you don’t know what I’m talking about.

I wrote a couple months ago that I would share some of the material I am preparing for the sermon series I am presenting this summer. I have already preached one sermon and have yet to write about it here.

I have decided I will not share what I have prepared for the simple fact that I prepared it specifically for the congregation I preached it to.

I will, however, complete my series on the Christian Disciplines that I began in April and said I would complete within a couple weeks. Look for them here in the coming days.
