God, Open My Lips

“O Lord, open my lips, and my mouth will declare your praise.” Ps. 51:15 (ESV)

I am limited in my understanding of just how worthy God is of my worship. So, I am left standing before what I have in my mind as an image of God’s throne in heaven, bowing down to God, who’s glory I can never imagine, speaking and singing words of praise, words which are not even close to describing the majesty of our great King. What I need is for God to provide the words and the understanding of who He is. Only then can I step closer to offering God the praise He deserves.
