Remind yourself every day that the pilgrim journey through this world is not meant to be done alone. This is why we have the church, local and universal. This prayer from Paul to the Thessalonians is a guide for us as we pray for one another:
May God our Father himself and our Master Jesus clear the road to you! And may the Master pour on the love so it fills your lives and splashes over on everyone around you, just as it does from us to you. May you be infused with strength and purity, filled with confidence in the presence of God our Father when our Master Jesus arrives with all his followers.
1 Thessalonians 3:12-13 (The Message)
Pray this for your brothers and sisters in Christ. It is the prayers we offer for one another that will help us stand firm until the day when Jesus returns.
You are not alone as you wait in hope for the Lord. You are in the company of millions of others who are on the same journey.
