The constant bombardment of life’s demands makes it challenging sometimes to live with inner peace. There is a passage in Philippians 4 that helps with this:
…whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.
Philippians 4:8 (ESV)
Each day, take time to put this passage into practice. Think about what is good, and remember the truth of the promises of God.
This will actually begin to rewire your brain. In the midst of stress, worry, anxiety, and the pressures of life, you can train your mind to think about that which is good and lovely.
