Biography

William and Lynn Knelsen

I grew up in Winkler, Manitoba where my wife, Lynn, and I spent our first seven years of marriage. We have three children who are growing up to be awesome people we are so thankful to know and love.

In 2010 we moved to Three Hills, Alberta, where I began studies that fall at Prairie College for pastoral ministry and graduated in 2014.

I spent most of my professional life working in the digital media industry, specifically in the areas of web development and video production. While I was studying at Prairie, I also redesigned, coordinated, and taught in the media program.

In January 2014, I accepted a Pastoral position at Bergen Missionary Church near Sundre, Alberta, where I ministered to families in the Bergen and Sundre areas until December 2017. We moved back to Winkler while we took time to reflect and plan for our future.

We ended up being presented with an opportunity to relocate back to Alberta in fall 2018 when I was invited to fill the position of Director of Communications for the Evangelical Missionary Church of Canada. I continued in that position for two years.

Currently, I am as serving as the Communications Director at CrossRoads Church in Red Deer and studying at Regent College towards a Master of Arts degree in Leadership, Theology, and Society.
