Tonight is our final night in India. It’s been quite busy the last couple days, which has prevented me from posting any updates. Since my last post, we have attended a couple more Pastor’s meetings, one with 200 pastors in Trichy and today was with 1000 pastors in Chennai. We also went to some children’s follow-up programs, one in a village outside Coimbatore and one this evening in a Chennai slum.

On Sunday, after attending a church service outside Coimbatore, we left by train to Trichy. It was a 6 hour ride and quite relaxing. This morning we drove from Trichy to Chennai, which was a 4 hour drive through a beautiful part of Tamil Nadu. In between we visited the India Bible Camp Ministries head office and presented a bunch more bicycles to pastors. We also spent some time in a slum of Trichy and in the massive market area.

Tomorrow (Wednesday) morning, we will be at a youth event which is expected to have 3-4000 youth attending. In the afternoon High Valley will be doing a 30 minute show in a massive shopping mall in Chennai. There is more to the story about how they arranged that show, but I would encourage you to check High Valley’s website or Facebook page for the details which will be posted in the near future.

Our flight leaves at 1:50am Thursday morning, and after 24 hours of flying, I will arrive back in Alberta around 4pm Thursday afternoon. Look for a few more updates once I get home, which will feature some favourite moments and some video clips.
