This afternoon I upgraded my iMac to Max OS X Mountain Lion. It took about 6 hours to download from the Mac App Store and 40 minutes to run the update. When I started up OS X again, everything seemed to be operating as normal. I have yet to find any issues with the operating system, and to be honest, I haven’t really noticed much of a difference. The question some may be asking is this: should I bother upgrading. My answer: probably, particularly if you use any iOS devices. The way Mountain Lion works with iCloud to sync things like reminders, notes and documents is really impressive and makes the technology much more seamless. I am a huge fan of getting technology to work for me so that I can get on with my life. In short, if you enjoy an effortless computing experience, upgrade to Mountain Lion. But first make sure your computer can handle the update.
